SHVRIKEN - Topic

SHVRIKEN started in 2016 with vocalist Shawn Talacero and guitarist Dave Orat playing Metalcore and Nu-Metal covers. After various lineup changes, SHVRIKEN eventually solidifies when bassist RR Porminal, drummer Jose Perpetua, and second guitarist Earl Borres joined the stride. After a year of riding with the band, Earl decided to step down from lead guitarist to pursue a producer role for the band's live shows. SHVRIKEN was then joined by Joey Paraguya and injected the band with new blood. Since then they have been touring and playing explosive shows around Cebu and Manila.

Extended range guitars, groovy riffs, and energetic live performances, SHVRIKEN brings fire to their shows with their distinct, Japanese-Sengoku Era-inspired outfits. SHVRIKEN's sound is a mix of modern metal with a slight hint of prog.
