Foothill Gold Line

The Foothill Gold Line Construction Authority completed the extension of the Metro A Line light rail system to Glendora, San Dimas, La Verne and Pomona on time and on budget, which opened for passenger service on September 19, 2025.

The 2.3-mile Pomona to Claremont A Line Extension will add a new station in the city of Claremont, and is now underway with final design and pre-construction. Major construction is starting in late 2027 and will take approximately four years to complete.
